The Good Talk Factory (TGTF) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) on a mission to foster positive social change through the power of conversations.

Aahvaanam is pay-as-you-please: eat well, listen to great music, and give what your heart decides. Every rupee of the proceeds goes directly to The Good Talk Factory to fund:
Accessibility audits & upgrades in public and community spaces across Hyderabad.
Autism support programs — sessions, resources, and community events for families.
Skill-development workshops that open doors to employment and independence.

Aahvaanam means “invitation”. Every August 15th, Akan opens its doors for a cause — and our guests decide what the meal is worth.

Inclusion is this year’s cause — and this year’s promise. The venue is wheelchair-accessible, we offer a quiet low-sensory seating area, and our team is briefed to welcome guests of all abilities. If you have an access need, call ahead and we’ll make it work.
